I was recently invited to a Busy Bag party. Each mom puts together multiple bags of the same activity, takes them to a party (where there may or may not be drinks and appetizers involved) and swaps with other moms. Everyone goes home with a whole new set of activities for their kid(s) to enjoy on a rainy, snowy, or lazy day.
I'm not a crafty person, but I love this idea. After some Googling, I came up with the Busy bag idea I'm going to use.
Fill the bags half full with tri-colored, uncooked pasta. Also include small plastic cups labeled individually with each of the colors. When you pull out this busy bag, the idea is that your kid can sort the pasta by color.
Clearly this idea is for the 1 1/2 to 3-year-old crowd. But you can alter activities based on any age.
What do you think of this idea?
