Having an almost 2-year-old presents plenty of battles in our household. Each day seems like a different one (or two).
Some days, we have to convince him to let us change his diaper. Some days it's getting him dressed. Some days it's going up or down the stairs, or coming inside after playing outside. Most days it's eating his veggies.
The boy LOVES tomatoes, sweet potatoes, avocado, corn, and a few other vegetables. But there are plenty of vegetables he won't touch anymore. Makes this mama sad... and frustrated.
However, I was presented with an interesting question earlier this week: Would I rather my child sleep through the night OR eat his vegetables?
That's a tough one.
He's a great sleeper. We haven't had a problem since he was a few months old. I take it for granted.
Would I rather him eat his veggies? Nope. He takes a vitamin and eats a well-rounded-enough-for-me diet.
I'm on the sleep side of the fence with this one. How about you?
